Senator Pearce moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption of the Finance Committee Substitute offered on page 267. Senator Duncan objected. Senator Adams offered Amendment No. 1 : 1997-02-11 Senate Journal Page 0292 SB 74 Page 1, line 14, amend section 2 to read: The appropriations made by this Act lapse on the earlier date of June 30, 1998 or the date when the United States Supreme Court declines to hear the decision of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in the case described in section one of this Act. Senator Adams moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 1. Senator Taylor objected. The question being: Shall Amendment No. 1 be adopted?
